What can I say? This was my first trip to Africa (at age 72), and my daughter's second. Our travel plans were very involved, as we were attending a Christian-Hindu wedding in Kenya and had to book flights and hotels at multiple locations. His suggestions regarding an add-on safari at the end of the festivities, including a hot air balloon were spot on! It was my last minute decision to visit Kenya and I didn’t have much time to plan. But KAMPUR arranged a phone call with me to listen to my interests and helped guide me to plan a perfect vacay in Kenya. KAMPUR helped me arrange my booking to Lamu at a rate better than the listed price in the hotel’s official website. For the following safari tour to Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru, on top of planning, KAMPUR also helped me arrange their professional guide Michael who himself was passionate about animals and also a very skilful driver. The whole trip was smooth, fun and comfortable. They also accommodated my last minute request to extend the safari one more day to visit Ol Pejeta Conservancy and arranged it professionally. Highly recommend to every one who wish to have a tailor-made travel experience in Kenya and looks for professional guides who know about animals!

Where do I start? It was such an amazing experience from the time I came across Kamal from Kampur Travels. He was patient enough to deal with all my queries and gave suggestions when needed. From the time I was picked up from the airport to the end of my trip, it was very personalised. I was pleasantly surprised to see the goody pack with a nice thoughtful gifts for the safari. To top it off, they even had a personal note to go with the goodies. So, the first impression itself is a WOW... I booked a trip to Amboseli for 3 nights and all my lodge/food preferences were taken care of. As I was doing a photographic safari, Kamal arranged a vehicle with liftable roof-top and windows on both the sides were removable. This gave me loads of options to shoot at a sightings which was excellent. The guide/driver Isaac was very good in accommodating all my photographic needs. He was on time for all my safaris and taken care of the picnic breakfast/lunches. I was glad to know that part of the proceeds from each trip go towards empowering communities in Northern Kenya, thru' programs like education, conservation and youth empowerment. I highly recommend Kampur travels and I'm planning to book a family safari trip with them soon.

Kampur Travel Diaries organised an incredible safari experience for my family to Masai Mara and Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Right from my first call with Kamal to multiple calls discussing our options to locking in a personalised itinerary, we are so happy with the time, attention and service given to us. Kamal and Purvi organised one of the best holidays we’ve ever had! We were a group of 8 (two families 4 adults +4 teens) visiting Africa for the first time . Everything Kampur organised was perfect from the day we had our first hour long conversation to provide them with our requirements/requests etc. we stayed at Mahali Mzuri so it was perfect! our trip to Masai mara also included a hot air balloon safari, most amazing bush dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversaries and everything else you would expect from a safari. The trip to Diani was equally great( with few recommendations for the hotel to consider) and we will never forget the amazing sunrise every morning! We didn’t have to worry about anything from the moment we landed in Nairobi until we were dropped off to the airport to get our flight back to London . All the attention to detail and perfect organising skills from Kampur made it all possible for us ! Once again thank you for everything you’ve done to make out trip most memorable. Only if I could tell you just one reason to go with them! Well there are many - your trip will be customised based on who you are and what you are looking for and they will get it bang on! - they will check with you at every step if you doing well, need anything - for me this is the first time a travel company has done that and that says something! - they use the money they make to help the people in Kenya and it’s done with 100% sincerity so choosing them is also giving back to society 🙂 - we did a trip for almost 12 days covering different landscapes for sighting and each one of them was worth it!

For my recent trip to Tsavo West and Amboseli, Kampur Travel Diaries was very efficient and reactive regarding organization and reservations. The handling was perfect from the first to the last day. I cannot recommend Kampur Travel Diaries highly enough! We had a three week trip in Kenya and every detail and request was meticulously taken care of. We wanted to experience a variety of adventures including hiking Mt. Loganaut (Sopa Lodge was lovely), games drives (it doesn’t get better than Finch Hattons) and the last few days on the coastal island of Lamu. All transportation was arranged which made travel go smoothly. We will be back and definitely use Kamal at Kampur Travel Diaries again and again!!

Kamal at Kampur Travel Diaries provided us with seamless transitions during our trip to Kenya and Tanzania. He arranged for someone to meet us at the Nairobi airport after our long exhausting flight and reserved a comfortable hotel for us. He also arranged advance logistics when we took a shuttle from Tanzania back into Kenya and needed a driver to meet us at the border and drive us to Amboseli National Park. In addition, he arranged for a domestic flight from Amboseli to Nairobi for our last day there, and made sure we had a comfortable day room in an airport hotel so we could rest up before our last night departure.
